A race of over 1150 miles of the roughest, most beautiful terrain Mother Nature has to offer each team of 12 - 16 dogs and their musher will face jagged mountain ranges, frozen rivers, dense forest, desolate tundra and miles of windswept coast. Add to that temperatures far below zero, winds that can cause a complete loss of visibility, the hazards of overflow, long hours of darkness and treacherous climbs and side hills, and you have the Iditarod. A race extraordinaire, a race only possible in Alaska. Expected to take between 10 and 17 days it's been called the “Last Great Race on Earth” and it has won worldwide acclaim and interest. The Mighty Deerstalker

The Mighty Deerstalker  The Deerstalker is a turbo-charged roller coaster of a run. It's fun, it's fast, it's action-packed and it's as tough as you can bear. You have a choice of 10K and 5K distances.

Bike Demo Day Series - Cannock Chase

The 2010 Bike Demo Days Series will run from March to April across five great trail centres.

Second in the series on 21 March, the series visits Cannock Chase in the heart of the Midlands is on 21 March followed by Bedgebury in Kent a week later. Wales' premier mountain biking destination, Coed y Brenin, is on 11 April and the series wraps up with the ever-popular Glentress on 18 April.

Brands attending include Bionicon, Buff, Corratec, Diamondback, Ghost, Lapierre, Lynskey, Raleigh Mtrax, Norco, Ragley, Red Bull, Rose, Saracen, Scott and Tomac.

To demo a bike, all you need to do is visit the Bike Demo Days website, select a venue and then book a bike. Bikes are booked on a first-come-first-served basis. More brands and bikes will be added in coming weeks so keep checking the site.

On the day, you’ll need to bring a helmet, photo ID and a household bill. The demo loops will be marked out by ex-British downhill and 4X champion Will Longden. Catering, parking and toilet facilities will be available at each site.

Horseplay 10k

Get on down to Henley-on-Thames this Spring for a spot of Horseplay! From the creators of the Rat Race, Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest and The Mighty Deerstalker comes an outrageous and tough new adventure running event at a stunning new event venue – it’s time for some Horseplay!

Our tough 10k and 5k courses pit you against gnarly woodland trails, mud, steep banks and pastures, water features, special “human horse jumps” and more mud.

Tri Sport Epping ‘BUFF© Mini Series’ Race 2 Duathlon (Bike 21Km/Run 7.5Km)

The Tri Sport Epping 2010 Mini Series is a race series of 4 multi-sport events all taking place at Ongar Leisure Centre Essex.  Competitors race in age categories and gain points in each event with the best 3 from 4 events to score.  Each event has a different format with the 3^rd event being a unique replication and celebration of the first ever triathlon organised in California in 1974.  There are prizes for each event and series trophies for the first 3 in each age category.
